I am a mediator and facilitator, working in both German and English and conversationally also in French and Italian to facilitate conferences and panels, but also to support conflict resolution, mediation, and dialogue processes. Professional affiliations and roles

I am the founder and managing director of CommonGround Communications Ltd. and a partner at komet-beratung. Through my work with komet, I am part of the ombuds team for Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU). In addition, I serve as an editor for the peer-reviewed academic journal «perspektive mediation» , am a board member of the Cooperative Construction Association kooperatives Bauen and I occasionally support the mediation training program at the University of Fribourg as a coach. I am also a member of University Mediation Switzerland (UMCH) and the Swiss Association for Conflict Clarification, and accredited by the Swiss Professional Association for Mediation (FSM).

Professional background

For over 27 years, I worked as a journalist and editorial lead at Swiss Radio and Television (SRF). I began my career in the 1990s as a journalist and reporter at DRS3. I later moved to Radio SRF 1, where I hosted the radio talk show «Persönlich» and produced various radio formats, including the current affairs programme «Doppelpunkt» . I then transitioned to television, where I worked as head, editor, and presenter of the SRF discussion programme «Der Club» and contributed to the science magazine «Einstein».

Academic background

I studied European Ethnology, Social and Economic History, and International Law at the University of Zurich. My master thesis on conflicts in blended families was published as a book under the title «Gute böse Stiefmutter». In addition, I have completed various management and mediation trainings, including editorial management at MAZ Lucerne, the Certified Global Negotiator program at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), mediation training Mediatorin FSM at the University of Fribourg, and the training in conflict facilitation Konfliktklärungshilfe according to Christoph Thomann.
